Building AI that
advances equity
Making data work more equitably, intelligently, and transparently
Founded in 2025 by Jeffrey Clorissaint, Fortuna Kadima, and Emmanuel Kudom, Kayno Labs serves enterprises, government agencies, and mission-driven institutions. We empower both technical and non-technical teams to act with greater speed, fairness, and impact.
Every dataset tells a story, but too often, those stories are incomplete or biased. Douglass, our AI data companion, helps uncover the full narrative hidden in your data through equity-driven analysis.

Solving the data age's most urgent challenge
Kayno Labs exists to solve one of the most urgent and overlooked challenges of the data age: how to make sense of fragmented, unstructured, and biased information in a way that leads to fair, strategic, and context-aware decisions.
Despite the explosion of data in our world, most of it remains unusable—trapped in disconnected systems, unstructured formats, and buried beneath institutional blind spots. As a result, organizations in business, government, and the social sector are making high-stakes decisions based on incomplete, outdated, or biased inputs.
We believe that true data intelligence requires not just analysis, but understanding — understanding of context, equity, relationships, and real-world impact. Our AI platform is built to reveal what others miss: the structural bias, hidden patterns, and contextual blind spots that lead to poor decisions and systemic inequality.

Born from friendship, rooted in shared purpose
Kayno Labs was born from a friendship rooted in shared purpose. Jeffrey Clorissaint, Fortuna Kadima, and Emmanuel Kudom met as friends and collaborators, bonded by a mutual passion for technology, equity, and impact. All immigrants or descendants of immigrants, they grew up witnessing the power—and limitations—of data and systems that often failed to reflect the complexity of the communities they came from.
From different corners of the world but with a common vision, they believed that the next era of innovation had to be more inclusive, more intelligent, and more human-centered. With backgrounds in data science, entrepreneurship, and AI, they set out to build something different: a platform that doesn't just process data, but understands it in context—detecting bias, surfacing patterns, and guiding better decisions in spaces where the cost of inequity is high.
What started as a series of late-night conversations about fairness in hiring algorithms and blind spots in policymaking turned into Kayno Labs—a company committed to reshaping how organizations understand and use data to serve people more justly. Together, Jeffrey, Fortuna, and Emmanuel are adding their unique threads to the American fabric—championing innovation that not only moves fast, but moves right.
